No spin Throwing Knife FlySteel OSETR – FR

The FlySteel Osetr is a Russian-inspired knife — a very popular and well-regarded model among no-spin throwers.

It’s not the easiest one to handle for beginners, but it’s a beautiful knife.
Personally, as a no-spin beginner, I prefer a straight handle like the FlySteel KIRIDASHI or a concave one like the AceJet STINGER.

Because of the Osetr’s curved shape, it’s harder to slow down the knife’s rotation. However, you can also throw it from the concave side if you use a low grip — this makes it easier to step back.

In short, if you know what an Osetr knife is, it’s a great choice. But if you’re looking for a knife to start learning with, it’s not the ideal one!
