Leather scales for FlySteel Flat Thrower axes

Set of two leather scales for the FlySteel Flat Thrower series.
The scales fit all models in the range.

Made from 2.8mm full-grain vegetable-tanned leather (from an Italian tannery).
A 3M 468MP adhesive is applied to the back for solid adhesion.

The scales are laser-cut, so the edges are slightly burnt.
If you want a cleaner finish, just rub the edges with a slightly damp cloth.

If you remember the old scales with screw-in rivets:
I decided to remove them for better throwing comfort.
Without rivets, the grip feels better, nothing comes loose, and it’s cheaper (the price went from €16.90 to €9.90).

That said, the hold isn’t as strong — so you may need to re-glue them from time to time, and possibly replace them more often.
Of course, you can always drill holes if you prefer to add your own rivets.
